Half life 2..where do i begin,probably one of the best games created..everything about it is great almost close to perfect.First of all,the graphics are good for a 2004 game,the level design and the chapters are really well crafted which truly makes the first play through special.

The gameplay is like a generic first-person shooter however it feels pretty smooth,you can run this game on almost anything due to how old it is but the gameplay is always the same..you will still get the same half life experience.Everything neatly comes together which is what i like the most.Valve didn't distance itself away from the half life identity rather the original game is referenced in this game as well.

The chapters also explore different aspects of the game such as the ravenholm chapter and the water hazard chapter.Even though this game is liked by many,most half life players were not a fan of the weapons and i understand way..there isn't a large range of weapons and there are some that are better than others.My favourite is the .357 Magnum its fun to use,the gravity gun was cool as well,i have never seen anything like it in videogame weaponry. Overall this game is an absolute piece of art.This game has more life than most games released today and is an example of how to make a good fps game.I really recommend anyone to play this game its really enjoyable.

Cry of fear is very well made for a half life 1 mod and I understand why it's such a popular half life mod.Its really fun to play in your first play through however the storyline is truly depressing.Theres some type of melancholy feeling throughout the game,maybe its because you are alone mostly throughout the game or the depressing metaphors present in the game..but all i can say is that game is quite different to most half life mods and other games in general.The game focuses on things such as depression and suicide in depth which i dont see that much from half life mods and games in general which is one of the leading factors why the storyline is so deep.

The gameplay reminds me of half life 2 which is strange since its made using half life 1 and gold source.You can tell that the gold source engine was really pushed to its limit which is impressive for an engine released in 1996.The level design is truly beautiful in this game i am a huge fan on it..however,i believe that the 4th chapter of this game was too long.Too much back tracking and complex puzzles.One thing thats twisted about this game is the nightmare sequences.They randomly occur during the game and are quite interesting,most of them are distorted in their own way which i think is the most horrifying thing about the game.

The range of weapons isnt that good..the weapons were alright but not the best.You can get through the game by only using one gun,the glock 19 and is the first gun you receive in the game which is pretty nice.Overall,this game is a excellent half life 1 mod and really does live up to its name of being one of the best half life 1 horror mods out there.

Team fortress 2 is probably one of the most enjoyable games i ever played.I dont really know what it is which makes it like that but i believe its because of how simple the game is.It requires no skill rather team work and strategy,its what the game itself is named after.Its easy to pick up this game if your new to it,there are 9 classes which have a range of abilities and personalities so there is a class for everyone depending on what you prefer in terms of gameplay style.

The gameplay is pretty smooth,nothing really special..but i am really a fan of the level design and the game mapping its simple but its pretty nice as well,it makes it easier to understand the map better which makes the gameplay even better.The game is pretty old and is not updated that much by valve which makes it easier for hackers to take advantage of the game which has made it unplayable for a while,however in the time that i am writing this, an update was released recently which banned any bots in game which has made the game playable again.In general the game isnt updated that much or at all so its still similar to its current state during when it was released and it has aged well.The game is still popular even though it has remained unchanged for years and i dont mind that..well it would be nice if it was updated more, I think that's what makes the game better.

There is a large range of weapons in this game,Most of these weapons are better than others and all of them have their own pros and cons.You can buy them or you can just play the game and get most of them which is pretty nice.Overall this game is very entertaining,you never know what will happen every match which is why it's so fun.
